News & Events 2024/2025
Dear Parents,
Thank you for your support all through this year, it has been greatly appreciated by myself as Principal, the
teachers and Staff.
We have had another great year, the children have been amazing and have made excellent progress in their
learning. The children took part in so many activities over the year both educational and fun.
Our Student Council and Green School's Committee were very proactive in supporting so many activities; the
children's Bí Cineálta Policy, achieving the Bio-Diversity Flag, promoting student voice and so much more.
We are very grateful also to the wonderful support from our Parent's Council and in particular along with the
whole school community and to you as parents for supporting so generously, the Fun Relay. The community
effort raised 10k which will go towards supporting children's learning for 2025/26 year.
There are some farewells also; we wish Ms. Madden every health and happiness in her retirement and also best
wishes to Ms. Duffy as the incoming Deputy Principal.
As Principal and on behalf of the Teachers, Staff & BOM I wish you a very relaxed, safe and happy Summer. We
look forward to welcoming you all back to school on August 28th for the 2025/26 school year.
Yours Sincerely,
Fidelma Nolan (Principal)

Dear Parents & Children,
Happy Easter and Thank You.
It's that time again for the Easter Break. We hope you enjoy it and that the weather might continue for another few days!
The children have been amazing all this term, so active and engaged in their learning and also in navigating their own participation within our school community.
Our Cake sale hosted by 6th class yesterday was a great success, raising €2500 - thank you to you as parents for supporting the school so generously. This money will be used on Maths & Science resources for the children.
Again, thank you for all your support as parents - schools work really positively with such support.
Have a lovely break and we look forward to seeing you all again on April, 28th.
Kind regards,
Fidelma Nolan (Principal)

Welcome Back to All!!
Dear Parents,
We are delighted to be back at school and to welcome all the children and you as parents back for the start of what is hoped, will be another great school year.
There were lots of happy smiles yesterday with friends coming together again.
We especially welcome our new Junior Infants starting big school, all of the new children starting in other classes, and all of the new parents to the school. We have a very active and helpful Parent's Council who are great in terms of supporting and welcoming new families to our school.
Thank you to our parents for all the careful preparation that you have put into getting the children school-ready again.
There are lots of activities planned for this term and we will keep you informed of each as they arise.
Enjoy the sunshine this weekend.
Yours sincerely,
