Ms. M. Tuite (Junior Infants)
Ms Tuite’s class had the best time on their school tour. They got to see lots of animals. They fed lambs, calves, got to hold chickens and even pet a cat and a dog. They played with sand, water and even on some tractors.
Ms Tuite’s class had a great day for World Book Day. They had a visit from 3rd class who read some stories to them and they had a fashion show to show off all their beautiful costumes.
Ms Tuite’s class got a big surprise when they came into school this morning. They had a visit from Elfie the Elf. He left a bit of a mess when he arrived from the North Pole. There was snow everywhere.
Ms Tuite’s class had a very big job to do today. We went to post our letters in the post office. We had a great time and we cannot wait for the postman to deliver the letters.
Ms Tuite’s class are great singers. We are learning Rólaí Pólaí this week.
Ms Tuite’s class have settled in very well to Junior infants. We love doing our fine motor stations every morning to strengthen our hand muscles.

World Book Day 2025
Ms Branigan's class went on a Bear Hunt around the school! We found the bear! We loved retelling the story together!
Happy Pancake Tuesday!
Ms Branigan's class have been very busy getting ready for Christmas. We made some elves, Christmas stockings, a crib and a very special Rudolph decoration using our handprints!
To get into the festive spirit we listened to Christmas music and drank some hot chocolate... it was delicious!
Look at the snowmen we made... they look so cool! ⛄️
Santa made a surprise visit to our school. He gave us some treats and special food for the reindeer. We are getting very excited!

Ms Branigan's class have been learning about the Post Office in school. We took a trip down to the Post Office in Johnstown and we posted a letter. We made sure the envelope had our name and address written on it and also a stamp!

We learned all about the farm this week. We learned the steps to get milk from the cow to our cereal bowls. We even got to make butter with Mr McEnery on Friday! It was great fun.

We had a busy March. We planted seeds. We loved watching them grow. We also made beautiful teapots for our mammies for Mother's Day.
