Looking Back at an Exciting Term
October Adventures
October was a busy and creative month for us. We started the month by showing off our dance moves during an exciting hip hop lesson. In the spirit of Halloween, we let our imaginations run wild as we painted some spooky art and got into the festive mood during our dress up day. We also created amazing designs using Plus-Plus blocks which challenged us to think outside the box and problem solve. We wrapped up the month with a much anticipated bake sale, which brought smiles (and sweet treats) to everyone.
Our 6th class has had a busy few weeks since returning to school. We got straight to work with some fascinating projects about landmarks around County Meath, using our creativity and research skills. In science, we put our thinking caps on and used problem-solving skills to design intricate mazes. We completed group projects on the circulatory system as preparation for the upcoming Mini Scientist competition later this term. Our art lessons have been fun, featuring autumn squirrels, Acrimboldo fruit art, and self-portraits that show our individuality. We can't wait to share more of our exciting activities throughout the year.
